Bar-b-Ques

Who can resist the mouth-watering scent of a barbeque? That smell tells you that summer has begun. With a pit that is 4 by 5 feet, you can cook to your hearts delight.

The Club field is open to all members and their families for three special occasions a year. Free of Charge. All we ask you is to bring something you want cooked and shared or just yourself and family. The Club provides the first taste of summer with hot dogs and hamburgers. There is a cash bar.

When Memorial Day arrives it all begins and continues on the Fourth of July and Labor Day. It seems to be a tradition to begin the barbeque season on the last Monday in May and that is exactly what we do. The pit is fired up and the food ready to be cooked and handed out to the guests. The picnic tables are filled and blankets cover the ground. People hug and slap each other's each backs.

"Glad to see you after a long winter!  Come meet the family," is often said,  and of course the kids are running all over.  The field offers security and privacy to those enjoying this ritual.

These are Club events to say thanks to the members for your support. Come and enjoy the facilities.

The Board of Directors and volunteers run these barbeques to celebrate the uniqueness of the facilities and to thank the members for their support. They cook and provide music. The festivities begin at 2 pm . It is a unique experience that can only be appreciated if you are there.
