About Us
The Ukie Club is actually the Ukrainian American Citizens’ Association.
It’s simpler and easier to refer to us as just The Club or Ukie Club. It
is run by Americans of Ukrainian descent that are Active
Members and on the Board of Directors on a
voluntary basis. The Steward handles the daily bar maintenance with the
help of a bar staff. The facilities are for rent
and can accommodate both inside and outside affairs. The bar / hall inside
can seat up to 140 people while the “field” can be utilized for
sporting events, bar-b-ques, tournaments, or family picnics.
The Club has been around for almost 100 years. It
is also the only private
facility offering indoor and private outdoor rentals. We are half a
city block large located in Northern Liberties West (between 7th
& 8th streets –
Franklin street
– and just off
Poplar street
). It is a Ukrainian-based organization so don’t be surprised if you
hear the language spoken either by senior or younger members.
